Green Feathers is the original UK brand dedicated to wildlife and bird box cameras. With a passionate customer base and innovative tech products, they make it easy for people to watch garden wildlife up close, from blue tits to barn owls. Their products are popular with nature lovers, gift buyers, and educators alike.

The Challenge.

Their previous website was outdated and lacked the flexibility to scale. The team needed a Shopify 2.0 upgrade to bring in modern UX features, more merchandising control, and a cleaner structure. With growing demand and strong brand trust, the site needed to convert better and work harder.

Introduced a dropdown navigation system using icons and images to help customers explore quickly and confidently.

Leveraged over 1,600 Trustpilot reviews and 300+ product-level reviews to boost trust at key conversion points.

04. Custom Product Templates

Created bespoke layouts to include videos, tick-box features, add-ons, Klarna, tabbed content, and detailed FAQs.

05. Brighter, Friendlier Design

Updated the colour palette and added custom icons to give the brand a softer, more welcoming visual identity.

06. Content-Rich PDPs

Built product pages that explain specs clearly, showcase “in action” videos, highlight add-ons, and display customer-uploaded content.

The Results.

Since launch, Green Feathers has consistently seen higher conversion rates and increased average order values. The site now regularly hits £250,000 in revenue during seasonal peaks, with strong gifting performance across Q4. The flexibility of Shopify 2.0 has given the team the tools to make updates in-house and respond quickly to trends.

Following the success of the Green Feathers site, we’ve also worked with their parent company on additional brands — including Alexander Francis, which focuses on elegant garden furniture. We continue to support both sites where needed for design updates, optimisations, and product page improvements.
